This October, the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce is offering its members a trip to China. For those interested in learning more about this travel opportunity, the Chamber is holding a meeting on March 10 at the Campbell County Public Library Pioneer Room, 2101 S. 4-J Road, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
The trip features stops in Beijing and Shanghai. In Beijing, travelers will visit the Temple of Heaven, Great Wall of China, Ming Dynasty Tombs, Tian An Men Square, and the Forbidden City, among others. Sites in Shanghai include the Bund, Yu Garden, and the Pudong Economic Development Zone, where participants will take part in the World Expo 2010 Shanghai. The World Expo features demonstrations in economic, social, cultural, scientific and technological fields. 2010 marks the first time the World Expo will be held in a developing country.
The trip costs $1,999 per person—price includes roundtrip international airfare from Los Angeles, transportation, four- and five-star accommodations, three meals daily, English-speaking guides, admission to tourist attractions, and much more! Reservation deadline is July 1. A $250 non-refundable deposit is required at time of reservation. Payment is due August 1.
