The Chamber’s Public Policy Committee helps to determine the direction that ought to be sought by the Chamber in local, county and state government, on behalf of the Chamber’s more than 620 member businesses. The committee compiles the annual Legislative Agenda, a publication that outlines the Chamber’s positions on the issues affecting the businesses in the community that is provided to the County’s state legislators prior to the upcoming legislative session. The PPC also runs the popular Eggs and Issues Breakfast held the first of the year, which provides an opportunity for the community to meet with state representatives and learn the issues on the plate for upcoming legislative sessions.
