If you need to fix up your car or truck, but don't have a garage or driveway to do it, Shade Tree Rentals was created just for you.
The self-service garage has two bays and an automobile lift for hourly rental to those looking to repair their vehicle. Rates are as low as $25 an hour, and tool kits are also available for rental to those in need. Owners Valerie Koss and Joe Brown are also on site to provide advice and help.
"There's a need for people to have a place to come out of the cold and rain," Joe says. "Some tenants aren't allowed to work on their cars in their yard."
Stop by their location at 3530 Bird Drive if you're interested. They're open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays, but they will see you by appointment. Call 307-696-1071 for more information.

"My Junk, Your Trunk" is really more of a flea market than a consignment store, says owner Tony Johnson.
The store at 1300 Butcher Court in Gillette helps home-based vendors and antiques dealers sell their wares together in one 6000 square foot space.
"A lot of people do very well here," Johnson said. "You price your own stuff and everyone has their own code on the price tag to track sales."
They are always looking for new sellers, and have a few open spaces right now at the store. There are currently thirty different vendors, ranging from jewelry to makeup and furniture. They also have the largest selection of balloons in Gillette.
"We got all of [Celebration Station's] supplies, and we are going to maintain all the balloons. We have hundreds on hand, and we can order literally thousands of others," says Johnson.
My Junk Your Trunk Too is open 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The newest consignment shop in Gillette already has a waiting list for vendors.
Red Daisy Gifts opened up on Highway 14-16 next to Long's Plumbing in March. The owners have been handling similar ventures for years, but the new boutique is ready to go with merchandise from 36 vendors.
"We have room for maybe two more small vendors," said co-owner Jen Skinner.
We welcomed Red Daisy to the Chamber on April 13 with a ribbon cutting, as they held an open house at their store. All 800 square feet was packed wall-to-wall with customers, Energizers, and fans.
"It's been a good experience and it's helped business grow," says Stephanie Bryce.
The boutique offers homemade craft items as well as retail, spanning from canned goods and clothing to home decor and skin care.
They are open Wednesday - Saturday, 10-5 during the weekdays and 10-4 on Saturday at 1604 E. Hwy. 14-16.
