Gillette's Walmart isn't the first to offer curbside grocery pickup, but you can't miss the bright orange pickup pavilion that now graces their parking lot. They held a ribbon cutting on Tuesday to celebrate the start of the service, with food and drink for those in attendance, which included Gillette's mayor, Louise Carter-King.
Customers that need help grocery shopping or that just want to free up some time in their daily schedule can place an order from more than 30,000 items – including fresh produce, meat and seafood, dairy, bakery items, plus health and beauty products – by visiting grocery.walmart.com, and entering in their zip code.
The app will take them to Store #1485, our local Walmart, to select exactly what they need at the same prices they'd receive in-store. There's even same day pickup. The service is entirely free, and is offered seven days a week. The minimum order amount is $30, and Walmart staff will bring the groceries right to your vehicle to load them in.
